About Us

Melodics is a mixed a cappella choir from Southampton, England. Our members are primarily students from the University of Southampton. To help make the group friendly and welcoming, we are non-auditioned, and do not require our members to have any musical ability. Arrangements are taught by ear with the help of prompt sheets by our musical directors.

As an a cappella group, we perform arrangements of songs without any instruments except our voices. We focus on pop songs, both new chart singles, and older songs. We aim to perform at least twice a year, in a range of venues, from a theatre, to busking in the streets of Bedford Place.

If you would like to get involved or get more information, please contact us or visit our union page for details on when we rehearse and how to join.
